2 most common types of STDs to look out for

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) occur through physical relations between the two partners. These diseases are one of the most easily spread diseases and most of it is lethal enough to take many lives all over the world. An act of passion with your partner can expose you to the risk of these diseases and therefore it is necessary that you refrain from engaging in sexual activity with multiple partners and use protection. Protection helps curb these diseases most of the time and often it is the only safety precaution that you can take. Today we talk about all the dangerous STD’s and how harmful and even deadly can they be for your body and even for your partner.

1. Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

At some point in his or her life, every sexually active person will be affected by this virus. It has more than 30 types and they can be spread through vaginal, oral or anal activity. Such is the nature of this virus that It can also spread through skin to skin contact. Luckily, it is not extremely life threatening and most of the time the body’s natural defenses get rid of the virus on its own. However, in some cases, it can lead to cancer of the genitals and other parts of the body.

2. HIV/AIDS

This is one of the world’s deadliest STD, claiming millions of lives each year. HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. It’s passed through body fluids such as blood, semen, vaginal fluids, and breast milk. You can get it by having vaginal or anal intercourse with an infected person without a condom, or by sharing a needle with someone who is infected. You can’t get HIV from saliva or by kissing. The solution to both of these is to use protection.
