The patients with blood disorders, porphyria (liver dysfunction associated reactions), renal (kidney) and hepatic (liver) impairment, psoriasis (skin condition causing red, itchy scaly patches), G6PD deficiency (enzyme found in body), risk of severe hypoglycemia (significant drop in blood sugar levels), and skeletal muscle function abnormalities should use this medicine cautiously.

Effects on pregnancy and lactation:

This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy. The effects of this medicine are undetermined in nursing females. Please consult your doctor before use.

Contraindications:

The patients with maculopathy (progressive disease that can lead to vision loss) should avoid use of this medicine.
