Uses of Rovista
This medicine is used to treat primary hypercholesterolemia(high levels of cholesterol), or mixed dyslipidemia(elevations in LDL cholesterol and triglyceride (TG) levels).
Side effects of Rovista
Some patients might experience headaches, dizziness, stomach upset, myalgia(pain in muscles), or anesthesia(loss of sensation). Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
When not to use Rovista
Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you have severe kidney and liver impairment, myopathy (muscular weakness), liver diseases including elevated serum transaminases, hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), muscle disorders, or alcohol abuse.
