This medication is an androgen used in men and boys who do not make enough testosterone (a naturally occurring substance necessary for masculinity and male sexual characteristics). It is also used in certain adolescent boys to cause puberty in those with delayed puberty.
Andrex contains testosterone, a natural hormone produced in the body, which helps develop and maintain male sexual characteristics.
The patients administered with this medicine may experience Nausea, vomiting, headache, skin color changes, altered sexual interest, oily skin, hair loss, and acne, pain or redness at the injection site, breast swelling/tenderness, mental/mood changes (such as depression), unusual snoring or difficulty breathing during sleep, swelling of hands/ankles/feet, symptoms of liver problems (such as loss of appetite, persistent nausea/vomiting, severe stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine, swelling/warmth in the groin/calf, sudden/severe headaches, trouble speaking, weakness on one side of the body, and sudden vision changes.
A doctor should be consulted right away if any of these side effects persist or increase in intensity.
This medicine is taken orally. The dosage is dependent on age, and the condition, and its severity. Please consult your healthcare provider before using this medicine.
Please store at room temperature (18-25 Celsius). Keep the medicine away from excessive light, moisture, and children.
