Just within the first twelve hours, the body starts cleansing itself of the excess carbon monoxide, making the oxygen levels come back to normal. As soon as the day ends, the risk of heart diseases, stroke, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol levels start to decrease. And by the end of the second day of quitting, your body is finally free of all the nicotine. If all this is happening just within the first two days, imagine what wonders your body will go through once you have gotten rid of the smoking for good!
If you’re a smoker, it’s pretty evident that you have already burnt your taste buds and nostrils with all that smoke! And your chances of acquiring hearing and vision disorders are 10 times more than a non-smoker.
