Precautions

• Avoid its use if you are allergic to diloxanide furoate or metronidazole, or any other ingredient present in entamizole.
• Avoid drinking alcohol while taking entamizole.
• Before using entamizole, inform doctor if using medications like alcohol, anticoagulants, ciclosporin, antimicrobials, cimetidine, fluorouracil, phenytoin, lithium, or phenobarbital as entamizole may interact with these and produce side effects
• It should be very cautiously used in neurodegenerative disorder of the brain (e.g. multiple sclerosis) & in epilepsy or any other convulsion disorders.
• Entamizole can make your vision blurry or cause dizziness. Therefore, please avoid performing high alert activities.

When not to use

• Its use in pregnant females and lactating mothers is usually not preferred unless it is very necessary. Consult doctor before use
