Ferric carboxymaltose is an intravenous medicine that acts as an iron replacement and treats iron deficiency anemia (lack of iron in the blood) in patients with chronic kidney disease, who are not dependent on dialysis (CKD) and those who are using iron supplements that aren't working. How To Use

As instructed by your doctor, Ferric carboxymaltose is administered by intravenous injection, usually by a medical professional.
Ferric carboxymaltose is normally given in two doses, separated by at least seven days. It is normally administered slowly over a period of several minutes.
