  • This medicine should be used in nose as directed by the doctor. Follow package instructions for use.
  • Before using the medicine gently blow your nose. Then by using a finger, close the nostril on the side not receiving the medicine. While keeping your head upright, place the tip of the spray into the open nostril. Spray the medicine into the open nostril as you breathe in through your nose. To be sure the medication reaches deep into the nose, sniff hard for a few times. Repeat the steps if another nostril also needs.
  • Medicine being sprayed in the eyes or middle of the inside of nose (nasal septum) should be avoided.
  • After each use, rinse the spray tip with hoe water or wipe with clean tissue. Replace cap after each use.
  • Do not use this medicine for more than three days otherwise it will cause rebound congestion.
  • Inform doctor or pharmacist if condition persists even after 3 days.

Its temporary side effects include burning, stinging, dryness in nose, runny nose & sneezing. Unlikely to occur but serious side effects are slow/fast/pounding heartbeat, dizziness, nausea, headache, mental/mood changes, trouble in falling asleep, unusual weakness, unusual sweating. A serious allergic reaction with this medicine is rare. But seek immediate medical help if condition worsens.
