This medicine is used in lung infections, urinary tract infections, ENT (ear, nose and throat) infections, skin and bone infections. It can also be used to treat gonorrhoea (sexually transmitted disease) and syphilis ( sexually transmitted disease).
Contradications
Please consult your doctor before using this medicine if you have penicillin (antibiotic) or cephalosporins (antibiotic) allergy or a rash condition.
Side effects
This medicine can cause allergy, rash, stomach upset, collitis (inflammation of colon), neutropenia (decrease White blood cells) or Stevens-Johnson syndrome (skin disorder).Please cosult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.

- Cefdinir absorption can be hampered by aluminum or magnesium-containing antacids and iron supplements. They should not be taken within two hours of taking Cefdinir.
- Refrigerate the suspension and give it a good shake before using. After 10 days, or when you've completed the number of days your doctor recommended, throw away the bottle.
- Antibiotic resistance and the spread of other illnesses can result from using outdated, expired antibiotics.
- Keep the medicine at room temperature, avoid from direct sunlight.
- Keep it out of children’s’ and pets’ reach.
