This medicine is used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), congestive heart failure (heart disorder) and hepatic cirrhosis (liver disorder) with ascites (fluid in abdomen).

Contradications

Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you use potassium sparing diuretics, potassium supplements or have hyperkalaemia(high level of potassium).
