ertugliflozin

It is indicated for adult patients with type 2 diabetes (hormonal disorder characterised with raised blood sugar levels). It can be used alone or as an adjunct to control raised blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes patients. Ertugliflozin is advised to be used along with proper diet and exercise.   

Contradications

Ertugliflozin and sitagliptin is contraindicated in patients with type 1 diabetes, severe renal (kidney) impairment, and in those who are allergic to either ertugliflozin, sitagliptin, or any medicine of these types.
