Contradications
This medicine is contraindicated in untreated bacterial, fungal, or viral infections or viral infestations. This medicine should not be used on burns, acne, psoriasis (immune-mediated red, scaly patches), peri-anal and genital pruritus (itching) and, pruritus without inflammation.
Side effects
Patients using this medicine may experience cushingoid changes (facial puffiness and weight gain), adrenal suppression (decreased or inadequate cortisol production), local skin reactions, acne, striae (permanent stretch marks), telangiectasia (small, dilated vessels), mild pigmentation, pruritus (itching), and contact dermatitis.
