Side effects

This medicine can cause nervousness, insomnia, headache, dizziness, dyskinesia (abnormality in voluntary movement), blurring of vision, cramps, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, tachycardia (increased heart rate), palpitation (unusually strong heartbeat), arrhythmia (disturbance in heartbeat rhythm), blood pressure changes, heart rate changes, pruritis (itchy skin), urticaria (type of skin rash), fever, arthralgia (joint pain), moderately reduced weight gain and minor retardation of growth in stature may occur in children during prolonged therapy.
