The possible side effects that may arise with the drug include: abdominal pain, diarrhea, headache, nausea & vomiting, dyspepsia (indigestion), anorexia, flatulence, constipation, dry mouth & thirst. Dizziness, somnolence, insomnia & tremors can also be experienced. A further increase in SGPT, anemia & leukocytosis may occur.

  • It should be taken with meals
  • Its suspension should be shaken well before use.
  • In case if you have diabetes, and you are using the suspension containing sucrose, you should keep your blood glucose level monitored.
