Contradications

Side effects

Falls, neck pain, postural hypotension ( drop in blood pressure ), GI (stomach and intestine) upset, anorexia (An eating disorder characterized by markedly reduced appetite), arthralgia (joint stiffness), carpal tunnel syndrome (pain, numbness, and tingling in the hand and arm), weight loss, dyskinesia (abnormal, uncontrollable, involuntary movements), dystonia ( a movement disorder that causes the muscles to contract and spasm involuntarily), abnormal dream, hallucination, rash in adjuvant therapy ( primary (initial) treatment)

Monitor for impulse control disorders including pathological gambling (compulsive gambling or disordered gambling, is a recognized mental disorder characterized by a pattern of continued gambling despite negative physical, psychological, and social consequences), hypersexuality ( extremely frequent or suddenly increased libido), compulsive spending or eating. Risk of sudden sleep onset
