This vaccine helps in prevention of gastroenetritis (gastric inflammation) caused by Rotavirus G1 and certain non-G1 serotypes.

Contradications

This vaccine msut be avoided in the case of a chronic (long-standing) Gastric disease like congenital malformation of GI tract (structural defect by birth), Hypersensitivity (allergy) and Adults should not take this vaccine.

Side effects

This medicine may cause fever, irritability, loss of appetite, diarrhoea with vomiting.
