When not to use Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose

This medicine is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to either the active ingredient or its excepients.

Common side effects of Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose

Patients using this medicine may experience eye irritation, temporary blurring of vision, eye pain, eye itchiness, visual disturbance. An allergic reaction to the product is rare but can occur and must be dealt with immediately by a healthcare provider.
