Contradications

  • Acitretin is contraindicated for use in patients with acitretin hypersensitivity.
  • Acitretin should be used with extreme caution in patients with psoriasis.
  • It is contraindicated for people to use acitretin, to donate blood.

Side effects

Patients using this medication may at times experience dry skin, dermatitis (infection of skin), sticky skin, and erythema (redness). If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately.
