This vaccine may cause a mild reaction at inj site (redness and pain), fever, headache, myalgia (muscle pain), lymph node swelling, fatigue (tiredness), athritis (inflammation of joints) and GI disorders. How is rabies vaccine given to patients?

You will be required to follow a course of 3 injections, on days 0, 7 and 28 respectively. A booster dose will be needed one year after the completion of the course.
