GLUCOSE FASTING TEST:

The glucose fasting test measures the blood glucose level after fasting for 8 hours.
It is recommended to get your glucose fasting test done before breakfast.
It is mandatory to have no drinks or food except water for 8 hours prior to the test.
The glucose fasting test is a highly accurate marker of uncontrolled diabetes.
The result of a glucose fasting test is more accurate and easier to interpret.
For a glucose fasting test, the normal level of blood glucose is between 70 – 100 mg/dL.
