-Exposure of affected areas to direct sunlight must be avoided 

-The duration of use should be less than 12 weeks in adults and less than 4 weeks in children

-If the skin dries out excessively during treatment with cream or lotion, a change should be made to one of the formulations with a higher fat content i.e. ointment or fatty ointment

This medication is used to treat endogenous eczema (an inherent tendency to develop dermatitis on the skin), including atopic dermatitis (a condition that makes your skin red and itchy. It is chronic and tends to flare periodically. It may be accompanied by asthma or hay fever) and neurodermatitis (a skin condition that starts with an itchy patch of skin. Scratching makes it even itchier). It is also indicated for the treatment of contact dermatitis (a red, itchy rash caused by direct contact with a substance or an allergic reaction to it), degenerative, dyshidrotic (skin condition in which blisters develop on the soles of your feet and/or the palms of your hands. The blisters are usually itchy and may be filled with fluid) and vulvar (occurs in women when the soft folds of skin around the opening of the vagina become red, painful, and itchy) eczema
