This medicine is used to moisturize the skin. It prevents and treats dry, rough, irritated, patchy skin and minor skin irritations. It can also be used for diaper rash and skin burns.
This medication is also used in the treatment of pressure points, redness, diaper rash, sunburn, minor burns, and inflamed but broken skin. This medication is also used for daily care of skin exposed to drying and damaging environment i.e. hands and elbows.
Patients administered with this medication may experience stinging (sharp pain), irritation, or redness. Very rarely, a severe skin infection can occur which is characterized by white, soft, and soggy (wet) skin.
It is not known how this medicine may affect pregnancy. Consult your healthcare provider before using this medicine.
The effects of this medicine on lactating mothers are not known. Consult your healthcare provider before using this medicine.
Before usage of the product, inform your doctor or pharmacist of all allergies that you may have. As the product may contain certain inactive ingredients that can cause allergy. If you have any other health problems, consult your doctor before using the product. Some components of the product can make you more sensitive to the sun. The doctor may suggest you to restrict your activities in the sun, like avoiding tanning booths & sunlamps, start using sunscreen and wear protective clothes outside. Inform your doctor immediately if you get sunburned or have skin blisters/redness.
This medication is contraindicated in patients that are allergic to vitamin B.
