Primary Uses

Indications

This medicine is used in primary and secondary amenorrhoea (absence of menstruation).

Side Effects

Some patients might experience nausea, vomiting, weight gain, breast tenderness and enlargement, liver function disorders, jaundice, rashes or chloasma (skin discolouration). Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.

Contraindications

Patients who have hormone-dependent tumours of the uterus or breasts, liver tumours or endometriosis (tissue lining the uterus grows outside the uterus) should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

Indications:

This medication is used for treating irregular and abnormal duration of menstruation. It is also used for preventing abortions in women with history of repeated abortions.

Storage:

Please store the tablet form of this medicine at room temperature (18-25 Celsius). Keep medicine away from children, and excessive light and moisture. Please read the leaflet provided with the medicine for further storage guidance.

Precautions:

Please use cautiously in patients at risk of fluid retention/swelling (e.g. epilepsy), with heart impairment, high blood pressure, asthma, and diabetes.

Effects on pregnancy and lactation:

The effects are undetermined; therefore, caution is advised.

Side Effects:

Menstrual disturbances, weight changes, dizziness, insomnia, depression, drowsiness, and abnormal body hair growth.
