Glabinol 5mg tablet is composed of Glibenclamide (5mg)

This medicine in combination with an appropriate diet and exercise, is used for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus (condition characterized by elevated sugar levels). It is often combined with other medicines to improve efficacy and bring about the desired results. Glibenclamide is mostly available in oral form combined with other antidiabetic medicines. It is not indicated for diabetes type 1.

No. This medicine is only for use in type 2 diabetes.
