
Ketowise 30 mg injection

Indication:
This medication is used as a short-term management of moderate to severe post-operative (after operation) pain.
Contraindication:
This medication is contraindicated in patients with peptic ulcers (ulcer in the lining of the stomach), GI (Gastrointestinal) or cerebrovascular (blood vessels in the brain) bleeding, coagulation disorders, asthma, hepatic (liver) or renal (kidney) impairment, hypovolemia (decreased volume of blood), dehydration, and severe heart failure.
Precautions:
The patient must be cautious if elderly, has GI (Gastrointestinal), cardiac, renal, hepatic, or allergic disease. The patient also must be cautious in cases of mild to moderate heart failure, ischemic heart disease, hypertension (high blood pressure) and SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus).
Side effect:
This medication may cause Gastrointestinal disturbances, ulcers and bleeding. This medication may also cause drowsiness (sleepy), acute renal (kidney) failure, bronchospasm (constriction of the air passages), liver complications, low platelet count, hypersensitivity (allergy), and chest pain.
Pregnancy:
No definitive data regarding pregnancy or lactating females is available, therefore, be cautious. Refer to your healthcare provider for risk/benefit assessment.
Lactation:
This medication is contraindicated in nursing females.
