This medication is used to treat Tuberculosis.
Heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sore mouth, rash, muscular pain, pain in extremities, visual disturbances, pruritus (unpleasant sensation of skin), menstrual disturbances, fever, skin eruptions and pyridoxine deficiency.
No definite data regarding pregnancy is available, therefore; be cautious. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
The effect of this medication is undetermined in lactating females. Consult your doctor before using this medication.
RIFAMPICIN: This medication is not recommended for inter ISONIAZID: Patients with active chronic liver disease or severe renal (kidney) dysfunction.
Previous hypersensitivity to this medication. Patients with previous isoniazid associated hepatic (liver) injury.
Can I take this medication with food?
This medication should be taken at least half an hour before a meal.
Can I regularly take coffee while taking this medication?
Side effects may worsen with increased caffeine like increased blood pressure, restlessness etc.
Will this medication turn my urine orange?
This medication may temporarily change the color of urine. This is usually not harmful.
