Side effects of this medicine are dizziness, muscle weakness, ataxia (lost control of muscles), vertigo (head-spinning), confusion, gastro-intestinal upset, visual disturbance, skin rash, decreased alertness, headache, inability to urinate, disturbed libido (sexual desire), blood disorders, jaundice, unexplained psychological behavior, paradoxical (abnormal) reactions, anterograde amnesia (inability to create new memories) and thrombophlebitis (blood clot formation in veins).
