    For its safety during pregnancy; no known data is available, while small doses in nursing mothers are found acceptable. Consult your healthcare provider before breast feeding.
  4. How should it be administered?
    Its dose in adults and children is two to four teaspoons (200 mg to 400 mg) every four hours, which are not to exceed 2400 mg (24 teaspoons) in 24 hours. Do not take this medicine for more than 7 days. This medication is for temporary use only.
  5. How to store it?
    Ensure to keep it in a tightly closed container, at room temperature, and out of the reach of the children.
  6. What are its precautions?
    You are required to follow the following precautions while using this medicine; it should not be given to children and infants younger than 2 years of age unless you are directed to do so by your doctor and do not give it over-the-counter (OTC) as cough and cold medicine to a baby or child under 4 years of age. Consult your doctor immediately in case of hypersensitivity reactions.

This mdecine is indicated for the treatment of coughs and congestion caused by bronchitis, the common cold, and other breathing disorders.

Side Effects

Nausea or vomiting may occur. If either of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Serious allergic reactions to this drug are rare, however, inform your healthcare provider immediately if you develop any alarming symptoms.

Before taking this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Liquid forms of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol; caution is advised if you have diabetes, liver disease, or any other condition that requires you to limit/avoid these substances in your diet.



This medication is used for controlling and preventing symptoms of lung diseases such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and feeling of tightness caused by diseases such as Emphysema, Bronchitis, etc. This medicine provides quick relief for reducing lung disease symptoms. It works by widening the air passages allowing easier gaseous exchange.


Please store this medicine at room temperature (18-25 Celsius). Keep medicine away from excessive light and moisture. Dispose the inhaler six weeks after use. Please keep it away from children.


May make you dizzy; therefore, it is advised not to do any tasks that require alertness (e.g. driving) immediately after taking this medicine, patients with diabetes, heart impairments and high blood pressure should be cautious, and not to be used alone for treating moderate to severe asthma.

Effects on pregnancy and lactation:

The effects are unknown in pregnancy; therefore, consult your doctor before use. Contraindicated in lactation.


This medicine us used in oral or injectable form. The injectable form should only be used by a medical professional. However, if you are self-injecting or injecting at home, make sure you take all precautionary measures and follow the correct procedure. The dosage is dependent on the age, condition and its severity. Please consult your doctor before use.

Side Effects:

You may experience fine tremors, headache, increased heart rate, sleep disturbances, and irritation at the back of the mouth.


Use with precaution for Uncomplicated Premature Labor as it may lead to serious problems such as abortion especially during the first and second trimesters.
