How To Use For Zanlan 10mg
- For oral administration i.e. via the mouth only
- Max dose in adults & children above 12 years is 10mg tablet once in a day.
- In children between 6 to 12 years, cetirizine is used 5mg taken twice daily.
- Swallow the whole tablet with full glass of water
- In case a dose is missed, then take it as soon as you remember on the same day. However, if next day has arrived, then take only that day’s dose and don’t double it.
- If self-treating and using it as over-the-counter medication, then read the product information leaflet before using cetirizine
- And if using upon doctor’s advice, then ask doctor or pharmacist for full details on its use
- It can be taken with or without food.

- Not recommended for use in patients having habit of daily alcohol consumption
- Inform doctor of all OTC & prescription medications as cetirizine adverse effects can increase with medications like sedatives & tranquilizers (sleeping pills)
- Inform doctor before using Zanlan, if you have/had epilepsy or convulsions recently or in the past
