Panbio covid-19 Ag rapid test device is an in vitro diagnostic test for the qualitative detection of covid-19 in human nasal swab. This test device gives results within 15 minutes. Panbio covid-19 Ag rapid test device contains a membrane strip that is pre-coated with immobilized anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody on the test line and mouse monoclonal anti-chicken IgY on the control line. The device contains two types of conjugates: human IgG specific to SARS-CoV-2 Ag gold conjugate and chicken IgY gold conjugate. In case of a positive result, human IgG specific to SARS-CoV-2 Ag gold conjugate and anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody will form a test line in the result window.

Directions For Use

All kit components should be at room temperature prior to performing the test.

 -Remove the test device from its pouch and place it on a clean horizontal surface.

-Fill the extraction tube with buffer fluid until it flows up to the fill line of the extraction tube (300 microliter).

-Place the extraction tube in the tube rack. -Tilt the patients head back 70 degrees.

-Insert swab less than one inch (2cm) into the nostril. -Rotate the swab 5 times against the nasal wall and then slowly remove it from the nostril.

-Using the same swab, repeat the collection procedure with the second nostril.

-Rotate the swab tip in the buffer fluid inside the extraction tube, pushing into the wall of the extraction tube at least 5 times and then squeeze out the swab by squeezing the extraction tube with your fingers.

-Break the swab at breakpoint and close the cap of extraction tube.

-Open the dropping nozzle cap at the bottom of the extraction tube.

-Dispense 5 drops of extracted specimen vertically on the specimen well (S) on the device.

-Do not move the device in between.

 -Close the nozzle and dispose of the extraction tube containing used swab properly.

-Start timer. Read the result after 15 minutes.

-Do not read results after 20 minutes.

-Dispose of the used device properly.
