• Clean the nipple area.
• Assemble the pump.
• Position the breast shield correctly over the nipple, putting it as deep as possible.
• Ensure that the breast shield is fixed snugly around the breast.
• Start pumping with a low suction level.
• Empty both breasts turn by turn during each pumping session.
