Uses of Ascard
This drug can be used in the prevention of secondary thrombotic cerebrovascular or cardiovascular disease (heart disease and stroke); following surgery; and mild to moderate pain.
Side effects of Ascard
This drug may cause bronchospasm (lung disease), Gl upset (stomach upset), Allergic reactions, and haemorrhage (bleeding).
When not to use Ascard
This medicine should be avoided in patients with previous or active peptic ulceration (stomach ulcers) , Haemophillia (blood disease) and other bleeding diorders , Severe renal or hepatic impairment (kidney or liver disease).
How to take Ascard
This medicine should be taken with food.
How Ascard works
- It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain, fever, and inflammation.
- For Heart diseases and conditions, it works by inhibiting blood clot formation hence preventing blockage of arteries.
