INDICATIONS
This medication is used in the treatment of malaria and in resistant or mixed infections .
PRECAUTIONS
This medication can cause electrolyte disturbances and its use with associated drugs is known to cause QT interval prolongation (problems in rate and rhythm of the heart). Patients unable to take food should be monitored. Severe cardiac(heart) , renal(kidney) or hepatic(liver ) impairment can also be caused.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
This medication should not be used in patients with a history of arrhythmias(problems with the rate and rhythm of the heart) , clinically relevant bradycardia(significantly low heart rate ) and other cardiac (heart related disorders). It should also not be used in patients with severe malaria or in other plasmodium infections (infections of the microorganism plasmodium ).

Abdominal pain , anorexia , diarrhea , vomiting , nausea , palpitation , prolonged qt interval , cough , headache,dizziness , asthaenia (weakness), sleep disturbances , GI upset , fatigue , cough , gait disturbances (problems in the manner of walking) and sleep disturbances among others. This medication has a positive evidence of risk and should not be used by pregnant females unless no safer alternatives exist. Consult your healthcare provider for further information.

Indications:
This medication is used for treating adults and children suffering from malaria. Malaria is a condition in which a certain type of mosquito infects the human by its bite. It cannot be used as prevention from malaria.
Administration:
Take it as prescribed by your health care provider. Make sure to wear mosquito repellant sprays, full sleeves, covered clothes, etc. to prevent further infection. The dosage of this medicine is dependent on the age. Please avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice during use of this medicine.
Storage:
Please store the tablet form of this medicine at room temperature (18-25 Celsius). Keep medicine away from excessive light, moisture, and children.
