This medicine is mostly available in oral (through mouth), intravenous, and rectal forms. It can be taken with or without food. It is usually taken once or twice a day but it is advised to take it as prescribed by your health care provider. If you are using this medicine in suspension form, please carefully measure the dose you are taking with a special instrument usually provided with the medicine itself. Shake well before use. If you are giving this medicine to a child, make sure the medicine is specifically for children. Give the medicine according to the weight and age of the child. For extended release tablets, do not bite or break the tablet all at once. This can increase the probability of release of the medicine all at once. For rapidly dissolving tablet, place the tablet on the tongue and let it dissolve. The dosage of this medicine is dependent on the condition and its severity. Please consult your health care provider before use of this medicine. Please consult a doctor if your fever lasts for more than three days.
Please store the tablet form of this medicine at room temperature (18-25 Celsius). Keep medicine away from excessive light and moisture. The liquid or suspension form of this medicine is to be refrigerated and stored at 2-8 C. Shake it well before use. Discard the suspension 4 weeks after use. Please keep it away from children.
Interaction refers to the interference of the particular medicine with other drugs (if any other drugs are being taken), normal mechanisms of the body etc. Paracetamol may interact with Ketokonzole and Alcohol metabolism (rarely). Interactions of this medicine are not limited to only these mentioned above. Interactions of drugs may worsen, alter, be beneficial, or have no effect on other conditions (if any) of the individual using them.

What to do if you miss dose of paracetamol?
Please take your dosage as per prescription. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If time for next dose is close, take medicine normally. Do not double dose.
What to do in case of over-dosage of paracetamol?
Please immediately consult a doctor.
You may experience increased heart rate, decreased glucose levels, and cyanosis (blur discoloration of the skin).
Patients with impaired renal (kidney) and hepatic (liver) function, alcoholism, anemia, and serious skin reactions.
